GPS Racing was formed by George Hodkinson in 1999. George’s passion for racing began as a local rider on the Minnesota Motocross circuit. With a background
in racing and formal training in technical mechanics, George began to experiment with methods for improving bike suspension
and overall performance. GPS Racing was formed as a method for putting theoretical bike improvements to the test.
Over the past eight years, George along with the entire GPS team have continued to improve the performance of the bike and
the riders each season. The 2006 team saw rider Michael Blose on top of the winner’s podium 5 times during the season. A record for the team. In
2006 season, GPS Racing added the talents of Chad Pederson as a coach and consultant.
Chad was 2nd over-all a couple years in arenacross with several wins. Also he has won
a 125 Main in SX in the late 90's. He rode for Splitfire/ Pro Circuit, Chapparral,
and factory Yamaha for several years.

Jimmy Nelson is in his second year of arenacross, and after winning two mains last season, he is looking
to be a front-runner this year. He is a two-time Canadian Lites Western Regional champion and knows how to get the job done.
Kansas native Dennis Jonon has raced arenacross here and there, but he has never put an entire
season together. With the help of George Hodgkinson’s GPS team, here is hoping that Mototalk’s DJ236 can reach
the podium several times this year. (from RacerXill.com)
