WHAT WE DO

Ö    Attract sponsors to Live Action sports.
Ö    Provide a central registry of Race Teams, Media, and Promoters who specialize in the  motocross market.
Ö    Connect the sponsor with team(s), media, and event promoters who align with the sponsor's goals.
Ö    Supplement existing industry representation.

The downside of today's marketplace is that we live in a Googlefied world. If someone can't in a few seconds look up the information that they are interested in through a Google search, they are inclined to give up and move on. Additionally, the motocross community is notoriously "insider" driven. Racers, teams, manufacturers, and sponsors keep everyone at arm's length in an effort to ebb the flood of sponsorship requests each year. This combination makes connecting sponsors with race teams challenging for both the team and the sponsor.

Try it yourself, pick your favorite team and do a search on the web. Assume that you are a corporate marketing person trying to get in contact with team XYZ. Unless you have an in-depth knowledge of how race teams work and who to contact, you'll give up in frustration. Even if you are able to get a name and a phone number, there is a strong likelihood that you may never get a call back because "they don't know who you are".

The goal of MX Connections is to provide a collection of team profiles to ease the research required to contact a race team. All specific information (point of contact, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, etc.) will be kept confidential within the MX Connection database. When a sponsor inquires about a race team, MX Connections will alert the team that they have an inquiry so that the team can follow up directly with the sponsor. Direct contact information will never be given out. It will always be up to the race team to make contact with the sponsorship candidate.

As a value added service, MX Connections will assist sponsors with designing a program that is right for them. Each race team has a certain personality. Magazines and event promoters do as well. Based on understanding the goals of the sponsor, MX Connections will recommend a program that is tailored to the objectives that the sponsor wishes to attain.

Will other race teams be able to see our team profiles? - Yes, so don't include anything that is not for public consumption. Sponsorship fees, agency commissions, contact information, or any other sensitive data should not be included in your post.

What if our team doesn't have a race program. Let MX Connections develop one for you. We can assemble a race program that conveys your mission and personality. This will let the sponsor know who you are.

Is MX Connections for Race teams only - Yes. Rider support is a separate segment of the sponsorship market and is not part of the services offered by MX Connections.
