Motocross is where it all began. Set on the scenic hillsides of the nation, racers and fans alike brave
the elements to participate and view the most physically demanding sport on the planet. Fans are greeted to a fun filled morning
of scouring the mechanic's pits for the latest promotional information from the sponsors while gathering their favorite
rider's autograph. It's not at all uncommon to be leaning against a fence while watching a qualifying race only to
have one of the sport's biggest stars walk right up beside you to join in the viewing. Motocross offers an excellent opportunity
to connect directly with the fan base and your target audience. No other sport offers the accessibility to the racers and
the fans like the sport of Motocross.
Most teams that participate in the Motocross portion of the series do so as a
continuation of their Supercross program. Sponsors can take advantage of the entertainment opportunities that the Supercross
series offers and the direct connection with the fan based achieved during the Motocross series all through the same sponsorship
program. While each team may have subtle differences in the schedule that they intend to race, it is most common for a team
to include both the Supercross and Motocross series in their yearly agenda.
For the past several years motocross has
appeared on the VS Network (OLN) in a split program, Premier class in one show and the Lites series in a separate hour long
episode. Just like in any other sport, Motocross fans have their vcr's set to record and are sitting in front of their
wide screen LCD displays ready to digest every second of the broadcast.
Here are a few of the teams that participate
in the sport along with a subset of their promotional guide highlighting what they offer to partners interested in advertising
through them.
